The service is always free of charge by default and all fees are passed on to your customer.  There are a handful of cases where fees are handled by the event organizers:

1) Some or all of your ticket types are set for the fees to be absorbed by the promoter

2) A pre-arranged deal has been made between Purplepass and the promoter

3) Rental equipment was used and the promoter did not hit the quota of online sales to waive the rental fee.

4) You used your own merchant account or PayPal to process credit cards.  When using your own processing, all funds go directly to you as tickets are sold, including our service fees.  The charge you see on your card is not really a fee; rather it is reimbursement of service fees that you’ve collected on our behalf above and beyond the price of the tickets.
